The Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce holds a monthly Networking Meeting to provide an opportunity for local businesses to meet, share and provide support for each other. Each meeting is hosted by a local business or organisation and Shenhua Watermark was proud to be the sponsor of the November Networking Meeting.
Shenhua’s Community Liaison Officer, Debra Watson, introduced staff in attendance and acknowledged that the Company has been an active member of the Chamber since 2013 where they assisted in re-invigorating the organisation by becoming members of a Steering Committee and further assisting by filling the role as Chamber Secretariat and offering their facilities for meetings.
The Company has continued to support the organisation over the years through attendance at Networking Meetings, Chamber functions, hosting of meetings and overseas delegates, as well as having a position on the Committee of the Chamber.
On behalf of the Company, Project Manager, Cornelis Vlok thanked the Chamber for the opportunity to provide an update on the Project. He stated that Shenhua is committed to building on current relationships, and that the Company is looking forward to developing new partnerships with local businesses as opportunities arise through the development of the Project in the future.
